The standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War comes with the preorder bonuses and costs $60 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Next-gen copies of Black Ops Cold War are available to preorder for $70, too. According to an Activision FAQ, the Xbox One physical standard edition will not be eligible for an upgrade to Series X, and Activision is still determining whether the digital edition can be upgraded. PS5 users will be able to upgrade both physical and digital editions of the PS4's standard edition through the PlayStation Store (the upgrade price hasn't been revealed). The multiplayer will be both cross-platform and cross-generation, so PS4 and Xbox One owners can play with those on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Activision promised to share more information on how Black Ops Cold War will interact with Warzone at a later date, but we know you'll get some shared items and progression features.
